CDS-105 Dataraser Data processing and audio tape managers in hundreds of organizations have discovered the advantages of degaussing computer and recording media with the Dataraser 105. If your data processing center or tape library doesn't have one yet, consider some of the benefits listed here.
CDS-2500A The CDS-2500A continuously erases up to 90 VHS tapes per minute. In addition, the field strength switch allows the erasure of metal particle tapes up to 2200 oersteds. VHS tapes require one pass, while metal particle tapes require two passes.
CDS-2700 As high coercivity magnetic media becomes the industry standard, the lower energy degaussers currently in use are now insufficient for high coercivity media. Garner, the leader in degaussing equipment for over 20 years, answers with its NSA type 1 approved CDS-2700.
CDS-4400ED Today's metal particle video tape formats allow better resolution, less video noise and higher frequency recording. The problem is these super-high coercivity tape formats, 2000 oersteds and increasing, are very difficult to erase. Conventional tape erasers just can't do it. Now Continuous Duty. The solution is the CDS-4400ED!
CF-750 The Garner Model CF-750 degausser meets the National Security Agency/Central Security Service Specifications L14-4-A and Department of Defense Manual 5200.28M for erasure of Type II Magnetic Media. It features new technology which provides the fastest, most superior erasure of magnetic media today. In just 22 seconds the CF-750 will erase 750 oersted media to -90dB. And its continuous duty operation allows bulk degaussing of large quantities of media.
DDS-1800 The DDS-1800 automatically rotates media to be degaussed on an 18 inch round turntable. As the turntable rotates, the drawer automatically opens and moves the rotating turntable outward ensuring complete and even erasure. As the media gradually leaves the degaussing field, the media is left in a magnetically neutral state free of any data, time code or magnetic patterns.
HD-1 The HD-1 builds on our proven MDS-5 by adding the capability to erase Hard Drives. Along with erasing all the same formats as the MDS-5, the HD-1's degaussing force penetrates through today's highest coercivity tapes and hard drives including: Hard Drives - tested up to 200 GB, DLT, SDLT, LTO and AIT media.
HD-3 The HD-3 is the newest and most innovative product in Garner’s line of hard drive and tape degaussers. The user friendly input system provides effortless loading of various sized hard drives and tape media without the need for adapters. Once degaussed, the media is automatically released down the exit chute. The HD-3 erases all hard drive and tape formats that fit into the 6.75 x 4.5 x 1.3 inch degaussing chamber. Media formats include hard drives, LTO, SuperDLT, DLT, 9940, 3592, AIT and more.
HDTD-8300 The HDTD-8300 is designed for erasing high-coercivity tape and hard drives. The increased size of the drawer along with the increased field strength allow for complete erasure of half-height and low profile hard drives. In addition, the HDTD-8300 will erase most tape cartridges including SDLT-I, SDLT-II, LTO, 8mm, AIT and more. The erasing cycle is only 45 seconds per hard drive.
HDTD-8750 The HDTD-8750 accommodates large and small media including hard drives (standard and network drives), laptop computers, SDLT, LTO, 8mm and data reels. The HDTD-8750 will erase up to 6 hard drives or 9 SDLT cartridges at one time. Stored energy is quickly released to produce short, focused erasing fields that penetrate through the media ensuring complete erasure.
MDS- 4 Provides continuous duty degaussing for VHS, diskettes, 3480 and more. Intermittent degaussing of 8mm, S-VHS and 1" tape reels. The perfect degausser for security, law enforcement & data centers.
MDS- 5 The workhorse of our product line. The MDS-5 erases virtually all formats of tape and diskettes. The MDS-5 erases all metal particle formats such as DLT, Beta SP, Beta SX, Digital BetaCam, D1-D5, 3490 data cartridges and more. The MDS-5 also operates continuously without overheating in the low setting. This low setting provides complete erasure for VHS, audio, 8mm & 4mm formats.
PD-8700 The Garner PD-8700 degausses with a field strength of 10,000 gauss and then physically destroys the hard drive by driving four punches into the data platters, ensuring information previously contained on the hard drive is permanently erased and destroyed.
